Austen is a CSTA registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist who began practicing in 2013, and trained at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in London.
Previously he spent over 30 years working in the IT industry, and during his leisure time he became passionate about movement disciplines such as ski-ing, swimming, cycling, yoga, and pilates. Along the way his passion evolved into his work, qualifying as a Polestar Pilates Instructor over 10 years ago.
Over the years he realised that the accumulation of the stresses of life, work and physical injuries can take their toll on a person's feeling of wellbeing.
He had heard of Craniosacral Therapy and was recommended by a friend, who had experienced and benefited from the treatment, that this may be of help to him too.
After the first treatment, he experienced a sense of deep relaxation, and after subsequent treatments began to realise the subtle power of this work, as deeply ingrained injuries from over 15 years ago began to resolve themselves.
He felt a need to find out how this could be, and so decided to train as a therapist.
